Hunter albeit human.

At a very young age, it is rumored that Dae-Shim's parents died -- killed by Gumihos, and gone without a trace.

Raised by his 'uncle' - estranged, supposedly the brother of Dae-Shim's father - he grew up to learn of the many things that walked the earth with them. Knowledgeable in all things, Dae-Shim made it his life goal to find and kill the gumihos who killed his parents. Or so he thinks.

What he isn't aware of, is the fact that his 'uncle' is the enemy he is looking for: the man who claims to be his uncle is nothing but a man who wished for Dae-Shim's family to be dead. He is using Dae-Shim to harbor hatred towards the foxes, and help him - and the other bands of human hunters - to finally rid the world of them once and for all.

Which might include Dae-Shim himself.

Trained from when he was 15, Dae-Shim is well equipped in combat experience and skills, making it a point to consistently train. He is well versed in hand to hand combat, with his typical weapon his sword - a relic, maybe from a past life -, and brass knuckles in worst case scenarios.

Yet, it's ever strange for Dae-Shim: he wears an amulet around his neck at all times; supposedly a citrine crystal clutched by a five clawed holding base, it is rumored by those that have asked Dae-Shim, that it gives him perception, able to distinguish when a not so human entity is within a certain area around him.

Yet . . . is that all there is to it?

Perhaps, even, he was given it along with the medicine he's been taking since he was a child, to suppress a part of him he isn't even aware of.

Though despite the moral training grounds he always finds himself in, Dae-Shim - for the most part - is a well kempt, overall nice guy.

Until one's status of 'human' becomes questionable.

His outward façade consists of copywriting, working for the majority part freelance, called and working when he is needed by various clients for various work. He typically tends to write for advertisements and marketing teams, but is also known to write a few articles about things that may or may not exist in the world.

But what Dae-Shim isn't aware of - which, in the terms of truths, is a lot, - is the essence of where the sword he uses, had come from.

Jeong Dae-Shim, before being reincarnated into this life, was once a Protector of the mountains Lee Yeon used to oversee, the forests that Yeon and Lee Rang frequented.

Once a man who was meant to Protect the foxes, has been reincarnated into someone who now raises that same sword to kill them.
